In this Design Challenge, you will explore ways to consider a framework for creating a balanced approach towards assessment for learning. Through this Design Challenge you will explore how your system currently promotes the student role in assessment, and identify ways to deepen student use of key assessment for learning practices. You will leave the design process with an analysis tool to communicate how current practices at your site support or hinder student metacognition and self-regulation, and clarity about which next steps can advance the student role as you move forward in this work.
