Beth Blankenship is a teacher-leader at Oakton High School in Vienna, VA. Beth graduated from Kenyon College with a B.A. in Religious Studies and Sociology, earned a Master\\'s Degree in Humanities from California State University, Dominguez Hills and a Master\\'s Degree of Education from George Mason University. She has been teaching in Fairfax County for 13 years, at all levels of high school English. She is also the Director of the Center for Collaborative Learning-Peer Tutoring program at Oakton. She has attended the Project Zero Classroom summer institute, and she participated in the inaugural WISSIT in 2014, served as a Fellow in 2015, and at WISSIT 2016 she will co-lead an interactive course.
